The full tool lifecycle: directory, allocations to workers, checks, requests, returns, rentals and maintenance.

Tools management

Tools → Tools Management (/dashboard/tools):

  • Tool directory — grid or list view with categories and status (including derived status from current state).
  • Create / edit / delete tools with details, tags and photos.
  • Duplicate a tool to create similar ones.
  • Interuse — mark tools shared across teams.
  • Export the tool list.

Allocations

Tools → Tools Allocation (/dashboard/tools/worker-tools):

  • Allocate tools to employees, freelancers and trainees.
  • Allocation pages per worker type with movements history.
  • Defect resolution — flag and resolve damaged tools.

Checks, returns & requests

  • Tools Check (/dashboard/tools/checks) — check-in/check-out records.
  • Tool Returns (/dashboard/tools/worker-tools/return) — the return flow with a pending badge; returns can be approved or rejected.
  • Tool Requests (/dashboard/tools/tool-request) — workers request tools (from the web or the mobile app); requests flow through approval with a pending badge and a per-request detail page.

Tool maintenance

Tools → Tool Maintenance (/dashboard/tools/tool-maintenance):

  • Maintenance records per tool with a pending badge.
  • Log repairs, service dates and costs.

Tool rentals

Tools → Tools Rentals (/dashboard/rentals):

  • Full rental lifecycle: create → accept / cancel → complete, with damage recording.
  • Available tools lookup and client lookup to speed up rental creation.
  • Rental stats on the page.
